Nova Law Review Holds Inaugural Alumni BrunchPosted on: 04/15/2014
The Board of Editors of the Nova Law Review held their inaugural brunch for former members of Law Review on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Law Center. Editor-in-Chief of the Nova Law Review, Joseph Morgese and Michelle Nichols DeLong organized the event. There were more than 80 people who attended the brunch, including 35 former members of the Nova Law Review from various volumes.
Robert Kelley `81, of Kelley/Uustal in Fort Lauderdale was the keynote speaker. As former Editor-in-Chief, Kelley discussed the significance of Nova Law Review membership, how the organization influenced his career, and the importance of alumni relations and mentoring of students as a practicing lawyer. Kelley has been recognized by Lawyers USA as one of the Top Ten Lawyers in the United States. He has been a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Florida Bar for more than twenty years. Over the course of his career, Kelley has tried over 100 jury trials and has won over 25 multimillion dollar jury verdicts in a wide variety of cases.
