Rob Beharriell teaches Advanced Legal Research Techniques to upper year students. He is also one of the Shepard Broad Law Center’s Outreach and Reference Services Librarians. In 2011, he began working for the Law Library & Technology Center where he provides reference assistance and research instruction.
Rob is interested in research in foreign, international, and comparative law.
Rob is actively involved in several professional associations including the American Association of Law Libraries, the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries, and the American Library Association. He recently moderated a roundtable discussion at the 2013 SEAALL annual meeting titled “Revisiting Student Services: A Collaborative Discussion of New Possibilities, Roadblocks, and Solutions.” He has also presented at a CLE program held at the Law Center titled “Law Practice 2.0: Using the Internet and Social Media to Increase Productivity and Manage Your Law Practice.”
Rob is currently completing his Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Alabama (online). He enjoys incorporating the skills he learns in this program to his work at the Law Center.
