Adjunct Professor Graves is an Assistant County Attorney with the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office where she represents Miami-Dade County in all aspects of imposition and collection of local taxes, special assessments, and license fees, as well as defending the County’s tax rolls and collection practices. She also defends Miami-Dade County against Americans with Disabilities Act, Title II actions. Previously, Adjunct Professor Graves was an Assistant Attorney General in the Office of the Florida Attorney General's Office of Civil Rights where she practiced in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodations discrimination. Earlier in her career, Adjunct Professor Graves was a Certified Legal Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office, a Law Clerk at Horr, Novak & Skipp, and Intern for the Honorable Alan S. Gold at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Adjunct Professor Graves is admitted to the Florida, Northern District of Florida and Southern District of Florida Bars.
