Since 2011, I have been the Director of Alumni Relations for the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Working with the Law Center’s Development team, Dean, Administration, and Faculty, I provide Law Alumni with opportunities to engage with each other and law students in order to achieve the mission of the Law Center and Law Alumni Association. I also work with the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, a volunteer advisory board.
Since 2002, I have been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Classes taught include: Legal Skills and Values III and IV; Civil Pretrial Practice; Client Interviewing and Counseling; Collaborative Family Law Workshop.
I practiced law in South Florida from 1996 to 2011, where my practice included Assistant Attorney General (Florida), Assistant City Attorney (City of Hollywood, FL and City of Sunrise, FL), and civil trial and transactional attorney in private practice.
Since 1996, I have been a member of The Florida Bar and I am admitted to practice in the following courts: United States District Court, Southern District of Florida (since 1997); United States District Court, Northern District of Florida (since 1997), United States District Court, Middle District of Florida (since 2001) and The Supreme Court of the United States (since 2012). I am “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell and I am a Licensed Florida Real Estate Salesperson.
Since 2009, I have served on the Florida Bar Journal/News Editorial Board. I have published articles, lectured at seminars, and served on various non-profit boards through the years. I have also served my Homeowner Association and my church in various volunteer capacities.
