Matthew Salimbene is a Juris Doctorate candidate for May 2011 from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. Matthew graduated cum laude from the City University of New York - Queens College, with a bachelor degree in economics, and a minor in Business and Liberal Arts. Over the summer of 2009, Matthew interned for federal Magistrate Judge Arlene Lindsay in the Eastern District of New York. In the spring of 2009 Matthew was elected to the Treasury position of the Environmental law society at Nova for the 2009-10 academic year. Matthew has been a member of IACHR since September 2009, his goal is to focus on environmental issues that effect human rights. Matthew is a member of Phi Alpha Delta and the American Bar Association.
