Victor Palacios is a 2012 Juris Doctorate Candidate at Nova Southeastern University. He earned his B.A. in International Affairs and a B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University.
In the summer of 2009, Victor traveled as a part of the Global Peace Exchange, a student organization at FSU with student teams in Guatemala, Thailand and Rwanda, to partake in a student expedition into Guatemala to develop cultural awareness and foster international human rights by teaching courses in Santa Lucia Guatemala to both underprivileged elementary students and adult night students.
In the summer of 2008, he completed a successful internship at the International Rescue Committee in Doral, Florida as a Adjustment Coordinator for Recently Arrived Refugees. There he met with families who had recently arrived to Florida and provided them with assistance for the purpose of adjustment into the United States.
Victor will continue to gain experience through first hand contact in International Human Rights as he seeks to continue his education through to an LLM in Human Rights Law. Victor is a member of Hispanic Law Student Association, Toastmasters International, LAMBDA student group, International Law Student Association and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
