While growing up, I had to find an even balance between American and Jamaican culture. I have three brothers, and I am the middle of four children (my younger brothers are twins).
I attended Florida State University for undergrad, double majoring in Business Management and Marketing. I am currently attending NSU Law School, with aspirations to practice either criminal law or sports and entertainment law, and later be appointed (or run) for a judgeship. While in undergrad, I ran track & field and became an All-American in 2007. I learned early, that Universities have a lot of opportunities to offer students, it is up to us to seize them, and I made sure I did. I enjoyed volunteering with several civic organizations, giving my time to Habitat for Humanity after the Hurricane Katrina Disaster.
If I were to ask someone to describe me in three words, they would say: enthusiastic, determined, and caring. Having a positive outlook on life and taking advantage of every opportunity that I was given, has made me a more well-rounded, tolerant, knowledge person, qualities that I can take and use in any situation that I encounter.
