Joseph Abdallah is a Juris Doctor Candidate for May 2011 and serves as the Legal Co-Director of the Human Rights Accountability Program. Joseph will also be coordinating the final presentation on U.S. Officials Accountability. Aside from his work for Inter-American Center for Human Rights, Joseph is the President of the Environmental Law Society, Producer for WLAW, and Law Student Advisor at Nova Southeastern University.
Prior to attending the NSU Law Center, Joseph earned his Bachelor?s Degree from Binghamton University in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Ecological Anthropology. While attending Binghamton University, Joseph co-founded the Binghamton University chapter of Amnesty International which earned the Most Outstanding Service Organization award in its second year of existence. Ongoing projects the organization is working on include the removal of tasers from public universities and divestment of investment funds linked to human rights violators.
