Sports and Entertainment Law Society (SELS)

Winners of the 2006-2007 SBA Awards: Best Organization of the Year and Most Improved Organization

The Sports and Entertainment Law Society of Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center (“SELS”) is an organization devoted to exposing students to the world of sports and entertainment law. SELS hosts keynote speakers to educate Nova law students about relevant legal issues in the sports and entertainment industries. We also organize exciting social events with great networking opportunities. Additionally, SELS members attend conferences, seminars and symposiums hosted by the Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law section of the Florida Bar (“EASL”) and the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Entertainment and Sports Industries. Attendance at these events is highly encouraged because law students gain insight into legal, financial, and business issues in sports and entertainment while networking with other law students, attorneys, and industry professionals across the country.

If you have any questions about SELS membership, please contact one of our executive board officers.
