OUR PURPOSE IS TO EDUCATE AND FOSTER AN INTEREST IN UNDERSTANDING THE LEGAL ASPECTS OF NATIONAL SECURITY BY SPONSORING SPEAKERS AND PROGRAMS CONCERNING NATIONAL SECURITY, TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN PURSUITS OF THEIR CAREERS IN THE FIELD OF NATIONAL SECURITY, AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL SECURITY THROUGH COMMUNITY AND PHILANTHROPIC INVOLVEMENT.
Dear Students:
The National Security and Law Society is a newer face on campus that has already made big waves. NSLS is committed to bringing speakers and programs relating to national security to the school as well as supporting our community. Last year we provided Thanksgiving dinner to veterans and their families, raised money to adopt a kennel of military working dogs in Afghanistan, and hosted a lecture by Ret. Col. Lawrence B. Wilkerson, former chief of staff to former Secretary of State Colin Powell. We have already begun to plan for the 2009-2010 academic year, and we cannot wait to get started.
So, if you are interested in National Security, Government Affairs, Foreign Policies, or just interested in having a great time with great people, then please come meet us. We can’t wait to meet you.
