FAWL'S goals are to further common legal and social interest of women, and promote the highest standards of professional ethics and culture in the law school community. FAWL maintains a bulletin board to keep the school informed of all upcoming events sponsored by the Nova Southeastern University Chapter of FAWL as well as the Broward County, West Palm Beach, and Miami Chapters of FAWL.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:

Networking: The Broward County Women Lawyers' Association, our sister organization, holds monthly luncheon meetings which allow its members and ours an opportunity to network with the legal community.

Community outreach: : FAWL sponsors and co-sponsors with other student organizations multiple fundraisers and drives for organizations within our community, including a pink ribbon fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and a cellular phone drive to benefit Women in Distress. Look for e-mails from FAWL over the course of the term for your opportunity to help!

Social events: FAWL sponsors several social events throughout the school year. Please continually check the FAWL bulletin boards located in the center hallway and the student lounge for updates.
