The Criminal Law Society provides its members with the invaluable opportunity to learn more about the field of Criminal Law and to become involved with current and future practitioners.

To further our goal of building an active Criminal Law Society at Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center, guest speakers will be invited to campus to discuss various aspects of a career in Criminal Law, and Panel Discussions pertaining to controversial issues and current events in the field will provide students with the opportunity to earn from and interact with practitioners. The Society will also conduct “field trips” to court houses and jails to provide students with insight into the world of Criminal Law practitioners, and CLS socials will provide members with the opportunity to meet their future colleagues in the field.

Membership dues are $20, for which members will receive a CLS t-shirt in addition to all of the networking and educational benefits that accompany membership. We welcome all NSU students who are interested in any aspect of Criminal Law to become members and participate in the exciting events the Society has to offer.
