Join the Celtic American Law Society
The Celtic American Law Society (CALS) was founded in 2003 to provide law students at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center an opportunity to explore the Celtic heritage and society in an informal and social atmosphere. Becoming a member of CALS will open you up to new perspectives in the legal community.
CALS invites you to join and become a part of the newest and most vibrant law society on campus that:
- Promotes leadership through the law school community by volunteering and fundraising. Our main fundraising project is for the American Cancer Society. Cancer crosses cultural and ethnic boundaries, and we feel donating to this cause allows the entire community to come that much closer to a cure.
-
Encourages positive and constructive interaction across all ethnic groups to promote a deeper understanding and knowledge of the political and historical roles of Celtic Americans.
-
Sponsors social events that give members the opportunity to network with members of the south Florida legal community, Nova faculty, and other law students.
-
