Admission Requirements

  1. A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university is required. Official transcripts from undergraduate degree's, as well as any graduate work or degree must be submitted.
  2. Applicants must have at least two (2) years of work experience in the Health Care Industry.
  3. Students must submit two (2) letters of recommendation. At least one letter must come from past or present employers in the Health Care Field. The second letter may be from a professor, employer, or an individual who has the ability to evaluate your aptitude for advanced study. Each letter must be submitted with the recommendation form. The recommendation forms must be filled out by the evaluators and the applicant. The recommendation portion of an applicant's file will not be considered complete until both the recommendation letters on letterhead and the recommendation forms completed by both applicant and evaluator are received.
  4. Applicants will be evaluated on their ability to work constructively with other professional in an online environment. This includes but, not limited to communicating effectively online or in person with faculty, staff and administrators at NSU.

Foreign nationals who reside outside the U.S. at the time of application, and whose native language is not English, must present evidence of proficiency in English by satisfactorily completing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 600.
