Law student Marlin Muller, was awarded a 2014 Summer Fellowship with Legal Aid Service of Broward County. This fellowship is awarded to an outstanding student annually and is sponsored by NeXT, the young professionals group that supports Legal Aid Service of Broward County and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida.
Marlin attended the recent Bridge to Justice breakfast fundraiser and is pictured with Major General William Matz (retired), past president of the National Association for Uniformed Services (NAUS), which advocates in Congress for service members, veterans and their families. NAUS was founded in 1968 and is the only military affiliated association that represents the entire military/veteran family. No other association provides such broad representation when dealing with Congress, the White House, and the Pentagon. NAUS represents all seven branches of the uniformed services including Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, including all components (active duty, Reserve, National Guard), veterans, their spouses, widows/widowers, and all grades and ranks – both enlisted and officer
