Adjunct Professor Nicholson is the Managing Attorney of Nicholson & Eastin, LLP, where he provides advice and counsel to clients regarding a broad range of health care and non-health care compliance and legal issues. Adjunct Professor Nicholson represents clients in federal and state court litigation concerning civil fraud, criminal fraud and complex commercial litigation matters, clients before federal and state administrative agencies and bodies concerning licensure and other administrative health care regulatory matters. Adjunct Professor Nicholson conducts internal investigations and due diligence inquiries and represents clients in qui tam cases.
Previously, Adjunct Professor Nicholson was Of Counsel at Broad and Cassel, Attorneys at Law, Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office Southern District of Florida, Affirmative Civil Enforcement Coordinator at the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, Health Care Fraud Coordinator at the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, and Trial Attorney, Tax Division, Criminal Enforcement Section, United States Department of Justice.
Adjunct Professor Nicholson has been and continues to be professionally involved in the community, such as, Co-Chair for Florida Health Law Handbook Committee for the Florida Bar Health Law Section, Co-Chair for the Enforcement Committee of American Health Lawyers Association, Board Member of South Florida VA Foundation for Research & Education, Inc. and a Board Member of the South Florida VA Foundation for Research & Education, Inc., Adjunct Professor – Health Law and Policy, and Former Board Member at the Broward College Foundation.
Adjunct Professor Nicholson has done numerous lectures and presentations and authored many publications and papers.
