Adjunct Professor Graves is an Assistant County Attorney with the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office where she represents Miami-Dade County in all aspects of imposition and collection of local taxes, special assessments, and license fees, as well as defending the County’s tax rolls and collection practices. Previously, Adjunct Professor Graves was the Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Florida Attorney General and she practiced in the areas of housing, employment and public accommodations discrimination. Earlier in her career, Adjunct Professor Graves was a Certified Legal Intern at the United States Attorney’s Office, a Law Clerk at Horr, Novak & Skipp, and Intern for the Honorable Alan S. Gold at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Adjunct Professor Graves is a member of the Florida Bar, Equal Opportunities Law Section, and a mentor for the Women of Tomorrow. She is admitted to the Florida, Northern District of Florida and Southern District of Florida Bar Associations.
