Eric W. YoungAssistant Dean, Law Library & Technology Center and Associate Professor of Law
Eric joined the Shepard Broad Law Center as Assistant Dean for Law Library & Technology Services and Assistant Professor of Law in January 2010. Prior to joining the Law Center, he worked as the Assistant Director for Information Technology and Library Services and as Associate Director and Director at two different Kentucky law schools. Eric also served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable S. Arthur Spiegel, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Ohio. Furthermore, he served as an attorney advisor with the Social Security Administration. He also worked as a litigation associate for Sebaly Shillito + Dyer in Dayton, Ohio and Boehl Stopher, and Graves a Louisville, Kentucky based firm. In addition to his responsibilities of managing the daily operations of the Library and Technology Center, Eric teaches Agency and Employment Discrimination. When not working, Eric enjoys playing golf, reading, and spending time with his family - Heath, his partner of 10 years, his three dogs, Tank (Miniature Pinscher) Piper (Pomeranian/Jack Russell mix), and Ricky (Yorkie) and his three cats, Spike, Grumpy, and Ms. Meepers.
