Barbara Britzke received her B.A. in history in 1971, and a M.A.T. the following year, both from Duke University. In 1978, Professor Britzke graduated from Temple Law School cum laude. As an Abraham Freedman Fellow at Temple, she taught Lawyering Process and Civil Trial Advocacy and was Assistant Counsel to the Pennsylvania Senate Judiciary Committee, receiving her LL.M. in 1981. As a law professor at the University of Baltimore from 1980–1987, she taught Property; Interviewing, Negotiating, and Counseling; Land Use Planning; Criminal Law; and Legal Writing. From 1989 to 1995 Professor Britzke served in the staff counsel at the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. After moving to Florida, she taught Legal Concepts as an adjunct at NSU’s Department of Dispute Resolution.
