Critical Skills Program
What Does the Critical Skills Program do?
The Critical Skills Program (CSP) assists students in developing and honing the essential legal skills of critical reading, thinking and writing. On the cutting edge of legal education, CSP reinforces skills through various hands-on activities - individual and small group sessions, skills workshops, and writing labs. The program strives to assist in the transition from layperson to law student and ultimately lawyer. Highly qualified CSP instructors teach students how to study smarter and be more successful, while guiding, stimulating, monitoring and coaching. Unlike other professors who have duties beyond teaching, CSP instructors have one job - and only one job - to assist students in developing and mastering those skills central to success in law school, passing the bar and practicing law.
