Anderson, former U.S. Congressman who served from 1961 to 1981, ran as an independent candidate for President in 1980 receiving nearly six million votes. Anderson, joined the NSU law faculty in 1987, and is the subject of an upcoming documentary project, Turning the Inside Out: The John Anderson Story
