Fellowship Guidelines
- Fellowships are open to all first and second year law students (and third year evening division law students) enrolled in the Shepard Broad Law Center.
- Students must make arrangements for placement at a public interest or government organization prior to applying.
- The public service organization can be located in any geographic area.
- Applications must be fully completed and submitted in a timely fashion. No exceptions will be made.
- Students who receive fellowships must fulfill the terms of employment as submitted in the application. If a student does not complete such terms, he or she will be required to repay all money awarded.
- Students may not receive academic or pro bono credit for the fellowship opportunity.

"A law school may not grant credit to a student for participation in a law school field placement program for which the student receives compensation."
