The Career Development Office occupies a prominent position at the Shepard Broad Law Center. Because of South Florida's rapid growth, numerous opportunities exist each year for students to engage in part-time legal employment. Although opportunities can be found with judges, in government, in public interest organizations, and in business, the vast majority of positions are
with private employers. Many students who clerk with private firms during the academic year find that they are offered permanent positions upon graduation.
