Reciprocity Policy
The Career Development Office at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center provides reasonable access to resources to students and alumni of other law schools on the following terms:

- Reciprocity privileges will be available only to other ABA-accredited law schools
who provide reciprocity privileges to students and alumni of Nova Southeastern
University Shepard Broad Law Center.
- Requests for reciprocity must be emailed or mailed to Robert C. Levine,Assistant
Dean for Career Development, at cardev@nsu.law.nova.edu by a career
development/placement official of the requesting law school. Request must
contain student's or graduate's email address, if any. The student/graduate
should wait for his/her copy of our response prior to contacting Nova Law
Center. The individual should bring a copy of his/her letter when visiting our
office.
- Reciprocity is granted for one month, beginning with the initial visit.
Reciprocity is not available from August 1 to November 15 during the Fall OCI
Period.
- Reciprocity privileges include access to job listings binders and reference
library.
- Reciprocity services do not include individual counseling, resume/letter review or participation in recruiting programs or job fairs.
- The Career Development Office may restrict or revoke reciprocity privileges to
any individual who misuses the facilities or services, or to any school surpassing
a reasonable number of requests within any academic year.
- The Career Development Office may deny all requests for reciprocity at anytime
for limited periods of time. NSU Law students and alumni are given priority
with respect to CDO space and resources.
- Requests for reciprocity can be made to only one of the following South Florida
Consortium law schools per student or graduate per year: University of Miami
School of Law, Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center,
Florida International University College of Law, and
St. Thomas University School of Law.
