Mission Statement

The Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University has spearheaded a groundbreaking undertaking in international and comparative law: The NSU International Citator and Research Project. This project involves the publication of two books: (1) The Manual of International and Foreign Legal Citation (The Greenbook) and (2) A Research Guide to Foreign and International Law. To accomplish this ambitious venture, a multitude of law professors, legal writing professionals, and legal practitioners from around the world have worked for several years under the primary supervision of the Shepard Broad Law Center and with the support of the International Law Students Association (ILSA). The Greenbook, which is the first comprehensive manual of international and foreign legal citation written for both U.S. and non-U.S. legal practitioners and academics, will be published by William S. Hein & Co., Inc.
